I'm The World

Difference is a shadow A dangerous mirage Nations and religion Just a camouflage Many people many faces Only a delusion Just a trick of vision An optical illusion Open your eyes What do you see? The truth is so simple It will set us free I'm the world, The world is me Hold on to what's true: You are me and I am you No such thing as a single mind One bond ties All of human kind I am a river, The world is the sea Fear is a dam built in between There's no 1 and 2 and 3 There 's no it and he and she There's no they And there's no we There's no you And there's no me Open your eyes What do you see? The truth is so simple It will set us free I'm the world, The world is me We are one As one we are free Let it be simple Let it be true: You are me and I am you One heart beating Through the world Feel its rhythm in your soul Let it be simple Let it be true: I'm the world The world is me
