Crash Landing

Always, over cautious Past tense, hurt and sadness So much heartbreak, and madness This time, drawn by your presence Feel at one with your essence Swept me into a daydream, no defense Caught without a warning Don’t know how to feel Hit me like a whirlwind The shock of something real Taken by the lightning Pulled in by the noose Didn’t even fight it The pain was worth crashlanding into you Trust for time been missing Burns me reminiscing Long avoidant, of what’s joyful Accidental magic Feel secure and grounded Safe to lower my guard, let down my walls Caught without a warning Don’t know how to feel Hit me like a whirlwind The shock of something real Taken by the lightning Pulled in by the noose Didn’t even fight it The pain was worth crashlanding into you
