Sometimes

Do you think of me? On a cold August morning When the wind blows your way I think of you When the carolers sing That was our favorite holiday You appear from time to time Just a thought that comes to mind Memories that come into play Felt the wind in Anaheim Like a touch you left behind Sometimes I just want it to stay You're melting away You're melting away You're melting away Missing you is like snow in California Do you think of me? When the sun sets at five And the warmth has gone away I think of you Almost never at all But sometimes there's just that one day You appear from time to time Just a thought that comes to mind Memories that come into play Felt the wind in Anaheim Like a touch you left behind Sometimes I just want it to stay You're melting away You're melting away You're melting away Missing you is like snow in California I wrote you a letter When you were still here Still in my hand Left unopened and untouched Wondering where you are now How you're feeling It doesn't matter anymore Time wasn't an issue When we were together At times, sometimes, I prayed For your grand return A silent standing ovation Do you think of me? On a cold August morning When the wind blows your way Just a thought that comes to mind Sometimes Sometimes A distant memory That comes to play Sometimes Sometimes
